How long does the average system last?

Most HVAC systems last from 10 to 20 years.  When your equipment gets old, its efficiency can dramatically decrease.  This impacts both the heating and cooling systems effectiveness, as well as its energy efficiency.  When see that an air conditioning or heating unit is starting to show its age, we give our clients two options.  They are given a choice between a HVAC system overhaul and installing a new system.   Sometimes you can extend you units lifespan, but more often replacing an old, failing unity with a modern, energy-efficient HVAC system can actually save you money in the long run.

How often should I replace my air filter?

Should I have my furnace and air conditioner serviced annually?

Yes! If you don’t maintain your air conditioning and heating systems, over time small problems will develop into big problems.  Properly maintained systems are also more energy-efficient and last longer, putting money back in your pocket.
